Man I really wish I had not procrastinated in writing these updates. Esp. 9 and 10. Now I am having a hard time remembering all her milestone. Anyway, unto the updates.
9 months-
Felicity turned 9 months old on November 4th. October was a busy month for her! At her Dr. Appointment she was 14lbs. 9oz. and in the 3%, and was 27 and 1/4" long and in the 40th%! She went on her first family vacation! Actually it was all of ours first. A lazy week spent on the beach in Gulf Shores. She surprised me while we were at the beach, unlike my other two when they were babies, Felicity actually likes the sand. We were all sitting in the sand one afternoon building a huge pile of sand to turn into a castle, and Felicity was just digging away! I told Aaron to "quick look at Felicity, she is loving this!" Aaron looked and he said "yeah she is using your cell phone as a shovel!" That was the end of that, she got mad when I took my phone away from her. She also got to meet her Nana Kirkland for the First time in October !!! After we left the beach we head to Huntsville to surprise Nana for her birthday! naturally Felicity loves her Nana, and Pop Pop Kirkland. While we were in Huntsville Felicity had her first encounters with horses, alpacas's, and goats! One of the many reasons the kids love their Nana so much is her animals!!! Also Felicity went to her First pumpkin patch that weekend and on her first hayride! On October 10 she decided that army crawling just was not fast enough, and decided to push up all the way on to her hands to crawl! On the morning of Oct. 19 I found Felicity standing up in her crib. She had started pulling up in August, but could only do so from a sitting position. So October the 19 was the first time she pulled up from a crawling position. She also helped carve her first pumpkin and went trick or treating for the first time. She wore what Aaron and I refer to as the "Heirloom Frog" costume! All three of the kids have worn it for their first Halloween. That about wraps up October! It was a busy month for our little girl! Here are some of her 9 month old pics!
10 months-
Felicity Turned 10 months old on December 4th. She is still tiny, only 14lbs 12oz, and 27 and 1/2" long.November was another busy month for her, Besides keeping up with the family and all our busy activities. She was starting to get into EVERYTHING!! The girl is by far my worst "messer". She is always trying to get into things and mess with things. Thank goodness for child proofing gadgets! Felicity also celebrated her First Thanksgiving. She LOVED all of the new foods she was getting to eat! I was afraid she wouldn't eat her regular foods anymore after getting spoiled on all those goodies, but she went back to them with out a problem. On Thanksgiving day Felicity started walking with a Stand and walk toy!! A baby doll stroller! It was so cute to watch her pushing that baby stroller all over the toy room. I made sure to catch in on video. On November 29 Felicity cut her third tooth! Her top right center tooth. That about wraps up November, at least as far as things I have written on the calendar. Here are some of her 10 months old pics!
11 months-
Felicity turned 11 months old on January 4th. She has picked up some weight finally! at the Doctors yesterday she was16lbs!!! YA!! Still below the 5% but that is a huge improvement! and she was 28 1/2" long!December was yet another month full of activities! Not only did she go to her first Christmas Parade on Dec. 3 the next weekend on the 10th she was IN her First Parade! Our Childerns department at church puts a float in the parade every year here in Loxley. I help keep an eye on the kids by walking along side of the float. Usually I walk the dogs with me,this year I pushed Felicity in stroller!! She pretty much slept through the whole thing. Back up for a minute on Dec. 9th she cut her fourth tooth! Her Left top center tooth. now she looks like a little bunny with her adorable little buck teeth on top and her two little ones on bottom.
Felicity got to meet Santa for the first time after her First Christmas parade! We were among the last people in line to see Santa after the parade. The wait was worth it! Felicity didn't even cry when we placed her on Santa's lap! My other two lost it when the saw Santa for the first time as babies! In fact last Christmas 2010 was the first time Stormy wanted to sit on Santa's lap. This year was also Vincent's first time to want to sit on Santa's lap! So I got a picture of all three of the kids sitting on Santa's lap and smiling!!! She also went to see the Nutcracker for the first time! Stormy's home school club had a field trip to go see it, so my two little tag a longs got to go too! Later that same week she almost had her arm swallowed by a camel! Our Chick-Fil-A has kids night every Tuesday. Throughout the year they will have special events for things like Easter, and Christmas! This year for their Christmas event they had a live Camel and some cute baby pigs, along with many other things for the kids to see and do! The farm that brought the animals was letting the kids feed them! I guess the camel has been feed A LOT! and assumed when Felicity stuck out her hand there was food in it! He just sucked her little hand right into his mouth all the way up to her elbow! It was hilarious! It didn't scare Felicity at all. She also had her First french Fry at CFA. She just grabbed it out of Stormy's bag and started eating it! After Aaron was off work for his Christmas Break and we had finished all of the Christmas activities we were committed to here at home, we hit the road again and headed to Tn. For Christmas at Pop Pop Loves! It was another week full of activities, with family! probably the neatest thing we did in Tn. was go to Opry Land to See ICE! Every year Opry Land brings in the same artisan's from China that build the huge ICE city on a frozen lake there, and they construct a indoor mini themed ICE show. This year the theme was Merry Madagascar! The Kids absolutely loved it!!! It was 9* in that building! They had huge parkas for every one to wear over there own jackets! I had Felicity in the moby wrap, so her little head was sticking out of the top of my parka. Aaron said he over heard a guy saying he had to take a double take because he thought I had something growing out of me! LOL!!! Felicity also had her first cookie while in Tn. We were letting the kids decorate Christmas cookies. Felicity played in the icing for a little bit and then just decided to eat her cookie! Felicity celebrated her First Christmas in Tn. at her Pop Pop loves house, with her cousins Caden and Caleb and Keaton. We had a blast while we were there with everyone! We came home the day after Christmas, and Felicity celebrated her first New Years with some sparklers here at home. That about wraps up her 11 months update! I can't believe in less than a month I will be writing her 1 year old update! This year has gone by so fast!!! Here are some of her 11 months old pics!
