Family Fun Friday/ photo dump!

Tonight after Aaron came home from work and we sat around talking about what we wanted to do. We debated jumping in the car and heading north to Huntsville to visit Aaron's parents. But not knowing if it was a good time to visit them ,since they just moved and are actually in the process of having a house built and are currently living in a camping trailer, we decided to just head to the beach!  We will make the Huntsville trip another weekend after Aaron's parents are more settled!  The kids are itching to see their Nana and Pop Pop!  Any way, back to our Family Fun Friday.  We quickly changed into our swim suites grabbed our bag of sand toys, or beach bag that already had towels and a sheet in it ready to go, and the camera's and headed to the beach. We swung through the drive through and got some cheese burgers and some frosty's at Wendy's  and ate on the way!  Once we got there it was about 25 minutes before sun down!  A great time to go to the beach!  I took some pictures for a vacationing family that was out there, and then we just relaxed. As soon as it was completely dark we got out our flash lights and started chasing ghost crabs up and down the beach trying to catch them.  We caught a half dozen or so. The kids loved it. We also found a star fish  And tossed it in the bucket with the crabs, they broke it all to pieces. We had planned to bring the starfish home and dry it out, so the kids were a little disappointed about it being broken. Maybe next time we will find  another one.  I told the kids tonight was just a sample of what our vacation in October is going to be like!  Then we will have an entire week on the beach to chase crabs and collect shells!  We can hardly wait until then!  Here are some pictures from our evening!  enjoy!  If you do Family Fun Fridays feel free to link up and share what your family does for fun cheap entertainment!!!
